No passport but we got these new photos today

After almost three months without a photo, we get these three showing her personality. They are date stamped 13 Feb 02.
Miss Serious is back!
From "throwaway" camera we sent to the Gomez family and they returned to us last week.
These two images were taken by Guillermo Bosque (our facilitator in Guatemala). Notice in the image on the right, she is smiling!!
These three photos were taken by Chris Huber on a visit to Guatemala. Chris put in the crib to take these photos but she wanted to be held by her foster mother, Maria. She is really good with that concerned look. And if you look close to see at least three teeth on the bottom!!
What a smart little girl. She knows she is going to be one today. We are sure who is holding her.
This photo and the three below were taken the day the birth mother (seen on left) transferred Gemma to foster care (the foster mother in on right). As you can imagine, this was a hard time for Gemma. She had been crying just before these photos were taken.
She is being held by her birth mother. We do not yet know the identify of the child in the background.
