Merry Christmas from the Michelini Family

Wow this year went by fast. So many things happened that have gotten me ready and excited for the future ahead. After changing my mind many times, I finally decided what I want to do with my life. Next fall I will be attending Ivy Tech in Indianapolis and studying Sonography, I want to be an Ultrasound Technician. I’m very excited, and cannot wait to start on this path.

I turned 18 in July, and of course went out and got my nose pierced and a tattoo. My tattoo is on my ankle and says Selene, which is the moon goddess. I can’t say mom and dad were too thrilled, but hey I’m young and dumb!

Along with my birthday, I got my dad’s old car!(He bought a nice new one) Finally I had something to call my own after getting my license earlier that year! It was a fantastic surprise. Another wonderful gift I received was concert tickets to see John Mayer from my lovely boyfriend.

Speaking of the boyfriend his name is Kenny, and this Christmas will be our one-year! He is a sophomore at Wabash College, but lives close to Fishers. Though we drive each other crazy at times, he’s my best friend and I couldn’t ask for anything better! During the beginning of summer, we bought parakeets. Their names are Melvin and Kiwi, cutest things you’ll ever see. They’re two peas in a pod and never go anywhere without each other.

I’m still working at the YMCA as a lifeguard and swim lesson instructor. In June 2011 it’ll be three years since I was first employed. I love the job and my YFamily!

Also in June, I will be graduating high school, so be expecting an invite! Senior year has flown by; I cannot believe that it is almost over. Now since I know what I want my career to be, I have kicked my butt into gear and my grades are looking fabulous. (I’m not taking easy classes either!) I’m very proud of myself!

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
